Starbucks Lovers NY: Taylor Swift Cover Band Heading to Poughquag
It doesn't look like Taylor Swift is heading on tour any time soon, you know because of the whole wedding thing...but if you're looking to scratch that Swiftie itch, Barton Orchards has you covered.
The Poughquag, New York orchard is bringing back Starbucks Lovers NY, a Taylor Swift tribute band for a night of fun for the whole family on Sunday, November 9th. There will be 2 performances at 2 pm and 6pm.
On Facebook, Barton writes "Get ready to sing your heart out — Starbucks Lovers NY is returning to light up the stage with all your favorite Taylor Swift hits!"
They'll cover everything from Speak Now to Midnights and all of your favorites in between. Fingers crossed they'll throw in some of her new hits from Life of a Showgirl!
While the music itself is a treat, the best part of this family fun event? It's FREE! You read that right!
What to Expect at Barton Orchards Taylor Swift Night
Guests will be enchanted by some of Taylor Swifts biggest hits performed by Starbucks Lovers NY, but they'll also get to experience the life of being a Swiftie.
Looking for friendship bracelets? Barton has you covered. They'll have a bracelet-making table where guests can "buy, craft and trade" your own friendship bracelets with other Taylor Swift fans.
There will be delicious food, sweet treats, and for the adults a "great selection of adult beverages" for the grown-up Swifties.
Taylor Swift's Hudson Valley History
It's a story Swifties know all too well, Taylor Swift has visited and worked in the Hudson Valley over the years.
In 2010 the singer, who was dating Jake Gyllenhaal at the time, was spotted on a date in Dutchess County. Later, she would sing about her time in the region on her Red album hit All Too Well where she sings "We're singing in the car, getting lost upstate."

For her 2020 release of folklore, Swift headed up to Hudson to record a majority of the album at Long Pond Studios.
There was also a Disney+ documentary that detailed the work behind the album in the Upstate, NY studio.
We haven't had a Taylor Swift sighting in the area in a while...maybe Taylor and her fiancé Travis Kelce will pick one of the many gorgeous wedding venues in the area for their future nuptials.
