Healthcare is a constant hot topic of conversation in the area, with people taking to social media and local forums to ask for provider recommendations and feedback on a daily basis. There's been a bit of chatter this week following the announcement that two major medical providers in the Hudson Valley would be merging. Here's what you need to know.

Community Primary Care + Dutchess Family Health = Major Merger

It's official, Community Primary Care (a division of Premier Medical Group) and Dutchess Family Health have officially announced their merger. In a statement from Dutchess Family Health:

This exciting new chapter allows us to continue providing the personalized, patient-centered care you know and trust — now with expanded resources, seamless communication, and access to 24/7 care for our patients.

The news hit social media on June 8th, as Dutchess Family Health announced a new office location in Hopewell Junction at 49 Foster Road, and said they are currently accepting new patients as well. Initial feedback has been positive, with confirmation from the medical office that the merge will allow them to take on additional insurance providers.

  • Function & integrative medicine
  • Foot-cause focused treatment
  • Putting patients first
