Join The Blue With Ulster County Sheriff’s Office Cadet Program For Teens
Are you a high school student interested in law enforcement and community service?
The Ulster County Sheriff’s Office Cadet Program is the perfect opportunity to get involved, gain real-world experience, and build skills that will serve you in any future career.
The next session kicks off on Monday, October 7th, 2024, at 6:00 PM with a parent/student orientation and open house at the Ulster County Law Enforcement Center in Kingston.
From there, the program will meet bi-weekly until graduation in June, offering participants hands-on training from experienced officers, skill development in leadership and teamwork, and the chance to participate in community outreach activities.
This program is open to students between the ages of 14 and 18 who are curious about a career in law enforcement.
It’s more than just classroom learning—you’ll get firsthand experience and build connections with law enforcement professionals.
Plus, it’s a great way to enhance your resume for college or job applications.
